STAY AT: One Ski Hill Place, A RockResort. This new ski-in/ski-out resort has access to four lifts taking guests to Peaks 7, 8, 9 and 10. WHAT’S NEW:  Vail and Beaver Creek have been selected to host the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. This will be the third FIS World Championships for the resorts, which previously hosted the 1989 and 1999 Championships.

WHAT’S NEW: Guests canlearn how to cook like "jerks" with a new “Cooking with Jerks” class, which is being introduced beachside at The Beach Club Restaurant & Bar. Guests will be taught how to prepare culinary creations using jerk seasoning alongside The Landings chefs during a four-hour course that ends with a full dinner. Jerk seasoning is an essential Caribbean ingredient, and nearly anything can be prepared using the distinct flavors. Rules and Restrictions Apply:  Children must be at least 6 years or older to participate and must be accompanied by an adult. “Cooking with Jerks" is only offered on select days of the week. WHAT’S NEW…Known as an environmental leader in the industry, RockResorts and Vail Resorts Hospitality tapped into a new program in March 2010, “Water on the Rocks,” which eliminates nearly all plastic water bottles in guest operations. RockResorts properties from Vail to St. Lucia and Vail Resorts Hospitality properties in all four Colorado mountain resorts - Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Beaver Creek - are expecting to save an estimated 640,000 plastic water bottles from the waste stream thanks to the “Water on the Rocks” program, which eliminates plastic water bottles from guest rooms and offers hotel guests reusable water bottles with refilling stations.
 
WHAT’S NEW…EPIC MIX! In August, Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) unveiled EpicMix™, a first-of-its-kind online and mobile application for the 2010-2011 ski and snowboard season. EpicMix allows Vail Resorts guests, at any of its five world-class mountain resortsVail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly–to effortlessly utilize technology to digitally capture their ski and ride experience and share it with friends and family. 
 
EpicMix is a digital application that guests can access online, at their computer or via a free mobile application that can be downloaded for the iPhone, Android or other smart phone. EpicMix automatically captures the activity of guests throughout each of its resorts, by leveraging Vail Resorts’ state-of-the-art radio frequency (RF) scanners that are being installed at each of its 89 lifts across all five mountain resorts. An RF-enabled chip embedded in Vail Resorts’ season passes and PEAKS lift tickets will automatically track guests’ lift rides, calculating vertical feet skied and days on the mountain and will recognize special achievements and accomplishments by granting guests commemorative, collectible digital pins. EpicMix will have hundreds of available digital pins for a multitude of unique experiences available at each resort.
 
CHARITABLE DONATION: At RockResorts and Vail Resorts, guests are offered the opportunity to donate $1 when they stay at one of our lodging properties.
